Photographs: The Portrait is an exciting new sale which presents wide ranging examples of the history of this photographic genre. From key images of icons that defined an era, to contemporary investigations of the other and self; all works in the sale demonstrate how the portrait remains of central importance to photographic exploration. Estimates start at £1,000 and include works by photographers such as Irving Penn, Helmut Newton, Desiree Dolron, Katy Grannan and David Lachapelle.
