Christie’s Paris are pleased to present the director Claude Berri’s passion for photography in a dedicated auction on the 12th of November. The French director began building his collection by acquiring works by Eugène Atget and André Brassaï of which the collection includes prints from his famous graffiti series. The contemporary section will feature large formats by Luc Delahaye, a lightbox by Jeff Wall, large prints by Hiroshi Sugimoto as well as works by Alexander Rodchenko and Raoul Ubac. Most of the photos of the collection were exhibited in 2003 at the Archevêché and Cloître Saint-Trophisme during the Arles International Photography Festival.
